Refund policy

Vaununi.fi provides rental services for strollers and travel accessories. The following cancellation and refund terms apply to our services:

1. Right to Cancel and Time Limits

The customer has the right to cancel their reservation free of charge no later than 48 hours (2 days) before the scheduled start of the rental period.

• More than 48 hours before the start: The prepayment will be refunded in full to the customer's original payment method.
• Less than 48 hours before the start: If the cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the rental period begins or on the day of pickup, the prepayment will not be refunded.
• Unclaimed Reservations: If the reservation is not picked up and no cancellation has been made within the required timeframe, the payment will not be refunded.

2. How to Cancel

Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to: contact@vaununi.fi. The notification must include the order number and the name of the renter. A cancellation is considered effective once it has been registered in our system and you have received a confirmation.

3. Unused Days and Early Returns

Since the rental equipment is reserved exclusively for the customer for the entire agreed period:

• No refund will be issued if the customer returns the product earlier than agreed.
• A delayed pickup does not entitle the customer to an extension of the rental period or a partial refund.

4. Defects and Complaints

If the rental product is defective upon pickup, the customer must report this immediately at the pickup point or without delay via email.

• If the defect cannot be repaired or a replacement product provided, the customer is entitled to a full refund for that specific product.

5. Late Return Fees

If the product is not returned in accordance with the agreement to the pickup point (Alepa Helsinki-Vantaa Airport) at the end of the rental period, Vaununi.fi reserves the right to charge a late fee according to the price list, as well as the full rental rate until the moment of return.
